Luxury Living Savannah

Booked a 3-night stay through Luxury Living Savannah and was very excited for our trip. The night before we were scheduled to arrive, a family member passed away. We tried calling the company and requested a refund. The woman who answered the phone berated me and told me that I was stupid for not buying additional travel insurance. She lacked any empathy at all and did not even acknowledge that a family member had passed the night before. It was shocking to go from a loss in the family to getting yelled at by the representative. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

We had a two bedroom two bath apartment on the back alley from Congress Street. Nearly perfect location! The rooms and baths were comfortable and well furnished, if a bit on the small side. Not really any room to walk between the bed and the dresser. Our rental included linens, but we were only given one bath towel each. The ladies said they really could have used an extra for their hair. We had a full kitchen, but didn't use anything but the coffee maker, which by the way, is dated and very slow. One big plus was the place included garage parking! A real perk in Savannah. We also had access to the main house courtyard which was a perfect place for a cocktail and cigar. One final note, the place was a bargain. We had sufficient room for 4 for the price of one downtown hotel room!

Last week we rented a luxury apartment in Savannah, HomeAway you out did yourself. It felt like we were in a major metropolis, real marble counters, two bedrooms with all amenities jenair appliances, basic stock in kitchen and laundry etc, we only went out if we wanted (we did). Three days $1200 bones and we are planning our next visit. These accommodations are truly HomeAway.
