Staybridge Suites Historic Savannah

The stay was exceptional, offering a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The location made it easy to explore the surrounding area, while the friendly, attentive staff ensured a warm and welcoming experience from start to finish. The rooms were spotless and well maintained, adding to the overall sense of relaxation. With such a positive visit, returning in the future is an easy decision.

The greatest part of the stay was the location for the price and the awesome bartender. The biggest issue was lack of communication and room stay. First, we purchased our stay to include parking payments for our stay. The hotel has a flat rate parking lot in the back of the building that was obviously full. They contract out to the parking deck; however, it was never mentioned that we needed to check in daily to extend our parking lot stay so we would not get charged 32 dollars. The day we checked in, we told the front clerk that the flat fee lot was full and we were going to have to park in the parking deck. The receptionist provided us with a yellow slip and said place it on the dashboard and that would be all we needed to do. The same day we had no warm water for a shower due to an error in their system. Third, the room was incredibly small. I searched before booking for a floor plan and could not locate so just booked based on the pictures. Let’s say that the it was tight. The bathroom tub was very outdated and dirty looking. Hesitant about showering. We read about happy hour being between 5pm to 7pm. Excited about that since we have experienced happy hour at a nearby hotel when we stayed there before; however, happy hour is only Monday through Wednesday ONLY and not on the weekends. Very disappointed. Upon checking out of our stay, after purchasing our stay to include daily parking payment, we were charged 64.99 for parking. The hotel could not do anything about it because we failed to let them know the daily stay even though it was never communicated during check in. Overall, charged more than should have, no resolution and failed to meet expectations. However, absolutely love Savannah! But staying somewhere else.

Our group had rented nine rooms at this hotel. As we were attempting to relax in the lobby, the bartender began blaring loud music that conversation impossible. When requested to turn the music down, he refused. When the desk manager was approached with the same request that the music beturned down she suggested we leave and go to our rooms. This was impossibly rude.
