Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort

Located in the picturesque backdrop and nestled on the Lake at Stone Mountain Park, sits the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort a beautiful property with so much to offer. We had an amazing stay and our Suite was wonderful. It was located close to the elevators and Fitness Center and had tons of space to spread out and lounge. The Suite has an extended balcony that can accommodate at least 15 guests. There was also a prep room with sink, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge and tons of storage cabinets and countertop space. We were surprised with 2 slices of Red Velvet cake and a bottle of Sparkling Cider brought to our room for us to enjoy our special day. We love coming to the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort, this was our 3rd time and we will be back!! P.S. right now if you stay on a Saturday and/or Sunday, they have a free boat ride around the Lake but don't be late, this treat begins at 9:00 on Saturdays and 11:00 on Sundays.

Beautiful location-lots of outdoor stuff to do-hiking, biking, kayaking- at Stone Mountain activities. Our room had a lovely view. Here’s the negative- The resort has so much potential. It appears they put a lot work into the conference rooms and seems a popular stay for golfers. The resort sadly is falling apart. Not well tended. “Hiking trails” on the grounds of the resort difficult to maneuver/find. The pool area needed attention. Towels leftover night, lots of leaves in outdoor pool. Rocking chairs outside chipping paint. The gym was out of service-the check in staff should have communicated this on our arrival. Our room itself was not clean-the bathroom floor, trim around doorways “high touch areas” were nasty. I found a medicine injector pen at the bedside table. Showers soap dispenser broken off wall. The WiFi is not great. Somebody needs to save this place!

Had a horrible experience here. Dirty rooms, front desk staff that doesnt knkw anything about the hotel, the lost goes on. I emailed 3 different people about issues and none have contacted me back. Very unprofessional and would never stay again
