Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites - Belleville Area

Stayed here twice before and after a flight from Detroit Metro Airport. The people are nice. The facility is your typical HIE and seemed to be in good shape. Parking is scarce. Both nights we had to drive around and finally found a spot. We were a long way from our rooms both times. It wasn’t even a weekend—both times it was an average weeknight. Breakfast was very average………have had much better quality and assortments at many motels as we have traveled. Coffee was awesome—they have new machines (2). Great stuff. Lady was working hard at breakfast keeping things tidy and the food replenished. Things were under control.

Stayed three nights and never saw a person from housekeeping - trash overflowing, had to go to front desk for clean towels and then they only were able to give us 3 bath towels. The smoke alarm went off at 1AM for 40 minutes - seemed like the front desk person had no clue what to do. Fire department finally came to disable it. The gym is lackluster - no water cooler, very little equipment, but plenty of space to put more; the wipes to wipe down equipment were dry as a bone in the container. Checking out, the desk clerk was rude, unfriendly. Never again!

I have been staying here for a year or so. I am a Diomond member. I like the cleanliness of the rooms the service is always great. As soon as you walk into the lobby you are always greeted by all the staff specially Peyton She's an angel and her warmth welcome and personality makes my day.
