Comfort Inn & Suites

The place is a dump. Not in a safe area. The room smelt and they just came to spray with air freshener telling us it the chemicals they clean with and how people have been complaining about the chemicals. We left the next morning around 10am and returned around 10:30pm to 5 police cars arresting people across the parking lot. Then we get to the room that was hot and stuffy because the air stopped working. The person on duty (Rome) told us he could have some come in the morning. We told him we can’t sleep in the room with no air. He takes us to another room that had no cover on the air conditioner and tells us but it works. He then tells us there are no other rooms, he will refund our money and we can leave. We go back to the front desk where there is now a long line. He takes about 30 mins to book someone a room after he told us there were no more rooms. After he finished with the first people he then tells us he can come up to fix it, which is not what he told us before. We go back to the room to wait and he never comes. We pack our bags and go back downstairs to just get the refund. He tells us he can refund us for the future two days but not the current day. We tell him we need our refund for the current day because we are not staying because he he can’t provide us with the service we paid for. Then he supposedly charging us for part of the day. He supposedly issued a refund for $300 plus $100 deposit, however I have 4 new charges on my card for $100, $200, $100 and $76.77. Now I have to deal with these unauthorized charges. This is a hot mess.

The hotel in the inside looks like a crime scence once you get to the rooms. the doors were disgusting looked like the paint was peeled off and rusted on the doors. Inside of the room the door to the closet had a whole in the door and looked like it was patched up with puddy, the carpert was heavily stained. the window would not close all the way down. the tv did not work. it was a mess. i specifically ask the front desk before i paid my money did the tv work and did the ac worked and the man gave me a bad attitude. DO NOT RENT THIS HOTEL!! IT IS NOT SAFE. when i went back down stairs to get my money back, the first floor smelled like weed! they charged me a penalty of one night because i would not stay there. This hotel needs to be shut down it is not safe and it is not clean. The rooms looks nothing like what is posted on priceline or hotels.com. Even the front of the hotel does not look the same as the pictures on line. i feel they are scamming people because based on prior reviews most people did not get their money back after they saw that it did not look like the pictures on line. they had a sign in the elevator stating they were in renovation but the sign was very old and looking at the reviews they had done nothing to the property since a year ago because it was bad reviews of the property looking disgusting back then.

This was the absolute worst! The elevator was dirty with hand prints all over the stainless steal. The paint was peeled off the doors. There were gnats flying everywhere. No chair for the desk. Housekeeping didn’t even knock daily to change sheets or towels. Tile cracked in bathroom. Toilet seat too low and was t screwed on. And so much more.
