HOMESTEAD RESORT

The customer service was awful. The front desk staff was not supportive and would not help us with an issue we had. There was no staff willing to help us at the pool and just poor overall. Very disappointed

We received an email the night before we were arriving stating some construction was going on. We called and the man in the phone stated there was none on the actual grounds, just the entrance. As you can see from the photos, that’s a lie. Banging, beeping, loud trucks going all day. Random men walking around yelling. Not exactly tranquil experience. Coffee shop was unable to make coffee because the machine is broke. Electricity to our room went out in the middle of the night. Guys were in the breaker room downstairs and did apologize but said they didn’t know what was wrong. Do you expect WiFi for your stay? DialUp AOL from 1997 was faster. Do you need help with something and normally call the front desk? You’ll have to leave a message because they won’t answer. This place is an absolute joke. Save your time and go somewhere legitimate. Will be sending the photos I’ve taken all day to my credit card and doing a chargeback.

There seems to be a lot of hate right now for the Homestead as they are currently knee deep into major construction in order to make the place bigger and better. I do agree that arrival instructions were frustratingly annoying as the road it told us to travel down was blocked with loads of cars so we couldn't get to the bottom where we thought the valet might be.......however, that being said, we had a fantastic time. Once we spoke to front desk, we had a cell number we could contact about anything, we moved our car from the dusty car park and valet parked it for us, bringing it back within minutes of requesting. Accommodation was nice and loved being able to sit around the fire pits. The star was the pool area, very clean and tidy, towels on hand with ice cold water available. Pools were warm and hot tubs were hot! Kids loved it! YES you are still in the middle of a building site so things are all out of sync, but still enjoyed it for what it was, a nice relaxing trip with the family. I think as long as you go in knowing then you wont be disappointed. We enjoyed it so much we are booked to return this weekend with friends. Looking forward to seeing the restaurant open.....and then looking forward to seeing the while place finished,
