This is one of the most insane experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. I actually booked it through TRIP ADVISOR and the booking did not show up in my app, for starters. Then I got to the hotel after having paid for the room and was told that TRIP ADVISOR required that my booking added another $140 got done VIP Membership (Private Guest Club) that I do not want or need and cannot use anyway. The hotel won’t let me check in without paying the fee and TRIP ADVISOR cannot fix it. Front desk staff extremely unprofessional and rude. DON’T EVER BOOK A HOTEL THROUGH TRIP ADVISOR. I ended up canceling the room and going elsewhere. This place is a total racket

Horrible experience. Never stay at this hotel. The toilet overflowed -- 2 days in a row! Electrical outlets didn't work. Light switch was broken. Room looked like a Maid's closet. Tried to get a new room and was told "no". Tried to get a reduction on my cost given we had fans drying in room and carpet stayed damp. Was told to take it up with the manager, and he didn't respond. Very disappointing.

The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. The parking is a bit expensive, but the valet workers were very kind. The room was spacious and modern. The problem I ran into was when I got back after a long day I fell from what appeared to be water that had accumulated on the floor. I noticed that the water was coming from the air-conditioning unit in the wall. I called the front desk and they said they were sending an engineer up. After an hour, I came back to my room and the engineer had not been there although the front desk assured me had. There was still a puddle on the floor so I inspected the situation a little more. I noticed at that point there was mold on the ceiling and the walls were dripping water everywhere. I proceeded to go back downstairs to talk to the front desk. The staff member seems slightly erratic and never bothered to ask me if I was hurt or how I was feeling after falling. He then proceeded to change my room, but refuse to look at the pictures I was showing him and said several times they were over but they were going to provide me a new room. While I appreciate the new room, this gentleman acted as that he was giving me something special and not the bare minimum when I have purchased.. He refused to give me the keys to my new room until we checked out of the old room so with my bum leg, I was expected to haul all my stuff down to the front desk, wait for him to provide a new key, haul it all back up to a new bedroom. Unfortunately, they didn’t even not have a luggage cart to assist.. I really wanted to love this hotel because of the location and the history, but I was very disappointed that this event occurred and staff could care
less..
