This property should be great due to its location. The exterior is well maintained and attractive. Glenview is a safe location. Lots of restaurants nearby, across the street in fact. The reception area is scruffy and somewhat dirty. The ladies at the reception desk were cordial. The stairwell was grimy feeling and unattractive, leading to the door at the top of the stairs with severe door damage. The carpets were old and dirty with a vague urine smell. The room appeared to be spruced up recently. The bed was nominally comfortable. The mattress needs regular turning. The linens were economy, but acceptable. Same for the bathroom. The in room Air handler unit was functioning nominally and likely needs replacement. The wall thermostat didn’t work. At the very least, it has no power, or it has been broken and nonfunctional. The entire property has a moisture/water leaking problem so the room felt clammy. A plus was the plumbing. It is in good repair and well functioning. The shower was great, and it was quiet at night, so okay sleep.

See picture bug infested motel with rat outside showed it to the cleaning lady and manager and they ignored it. So disgusting I felt it crawling in my arms ugh first time I saw something like that. Never again and no I will not recommend this place

Flew in from the UK, needed somewhere cheap to go. I'm very pleased with my stay. The staff was very helpful and nice. There was a very nice dude in general working at the front desk, however I didn't catch his name. I checked in and was a little nervous at first, being that I've never stayed in a Motel 6 before, therefore I didn't know what to expect. When I walked into the room, I could tell it got cleaned very well. I threw my luggage down and plopped on the bed. It was a very good night's rest. If I'm ever in the US again, I will definitely be using Motel 6 for my lodging. I highly recommend this, especially for those on a budget! (also, if you're wondering why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, it's because it was a little outdated, that's the only reason why)
