Super 8 Mundelein

Upon checking in I discovered the hotel operates as a homeless shelter as well. In fact from what I could tell I was the only hotel guest and all other occupants were homeless occupants. I didn’t feel safe staying there and requested a full refund as I was only in the room for a full minutes. The room was dirty, you kids were running up and down the hallway, very noisy, Social workers were knocking on doors doing wellness checks (I have video). The hotel worker said they would refund my full payment but then only refunded about $339.39 of the $475.15 I paid. They said the difference will be refunded later.

Very clean property. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast is fully stocked every morning. Fresh made waffles are very good! We will definitely comeback to this property every trip to this area.

This is the best super ever I had stayed after Covid. They still serve Breakfast. Housekeeping is great. Cleaning is awesome. Front desk staff is polite and friendly. Owner/Management had kept property nice and clean.
