Made our annual stay at the Embassy Suites in Rosemont for Fan Expo Chicago and this is our go to hotel. One of the major points for staying at this Hotel is that it is just a short walk across the street to the Convention Center. Check in was easy. The person at the front desk who helped us was Dan. He got us all taken care of with our room, our drink tickets and even gave me a room I requested that was near an ice machine and away from the elevators. So I was appreciative of Dan's efforts at check in. Another team member I'd like to acknowledge was Rosabel. Rosabel was able to give me a 1pm checkout since I'm a Hilton Honors member and it was very much appreciated. All the staff in the Hotel are warm and welcoming. We did have a hickup upon arrival to our room. Our toilet was barely flushing. I called down to the front desk and within a short while the maintenence man was up in our room fixing the problem. While the toilet didn't flush as powerful as we'd like, it was a bunch better than when we first got into the room. The 2nd hickup happened when we ordered Door Dash for one of the people in our room. I ordered Door Dash and the food was delivered to the room. When the other person ordered Door Dash the driver was told they weren't allowed to deliver food to the room, which caused an inconvenience for my friend. Those were the only real issues. If you've never stayed here before, the star of the show at this hotel is the Hot breakfeast buffet with made to order Omlette station. This breakfast has scrambled eggs, a rotating meat (Bacon, Sausage Links or Patties), Potatoes, waffles or pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, muffins and donuts. You will leave full and the food quality is top notch for a hotel, no microwaved eggs or meat. Another bonus is the evening Manager's reception from 6pm-7:30 where you get two free alcoholic drinks and light snacks like nacho chips, veggies and ranch, and sometimes baked cookies. They have a really nice wood fired pizza restaurant in the Hotel called Slyce. The pizza is really good and you can customize it how you like. So if you don't want to go get deep dish pizza at Giordono's down the street, this is a good option. Can't wait to stay here again next year for Fan Expo 2027. I think the secret is out though, every year the hotel keeps getting invaded by more and more of my fellow Nerds that it can get quite crowded at breakfast. I think they've found this hidden gem because of it's great qualities.

Park and Fly - this is our go to place when we have an early flight out of O'hare since it has queen beds. Our daughters friends joined us and I felt bad for the person who drew the short straw for the pullout couch. The light from the hallway is so bright. We normally travel as a family of 4 so haven't experienced that. Person at check in didn't realize we had park and fly so told us parking was extra even though I had prepaid. Showed the reservation info on the app and said she hadn't seen that before. Arrived in time for evening reception - drinks are well level. Slyce for dinner was good - wish we would have gone for happy hour there instead of reception. Left before breakfast.

Our family of 4 (kids aged 18 and 11) stayed at the Embassy Suites for a night after arriving from the UK and before heading back out again for a flight to Bozeman the next day. Location of the hotel is good, only about 10 minutes from the airport and we used the free shuttle both ways which worked well (goes every 30 minutes). Hotel is a short walk away from Rosemont area which had some restaurants and a short drive away from an outlet mall (did not really seem walkable as you would need to cross a busy road). Value was excellent - less than $200 and that included hot breakfast with personalised omelette chef plus a happy hour in the evening with snacks and drinks (alcohol available for adults). Only 3 stars because of decor / cleanliness - the hotel feels like it is stuck in a 60's/70's timewarp and could definitely do with a revamp - luckily we were exhausted which meant we did not overthink the hygiene of the beds. In theory there was a sofa bed which would have allowed the kids their own bed but no-one in their right mind would sleep on that given the noticeable stains and it was also in a separate living room which faced out into a courtyard area which was noisy and very light. Overall if you are looking for extreme value this is a good option but I think there are likely better options available which are a bit nicer!
