Knights Inn Ft. Wayne

This is as bad a Hampton as I’ve stayed in. Completely loose and soft tile floors, doors barely hanging on hinges, broken ac patched with floor ACs to get by. Just generally run down. Staff was nice and breakfast was fine. But the room felt more like something from a low end super 8 or Motel 6. Not a typical Hampton experience.

First and foremost, the staff is wonderful! Hilton is the problem. I checked in today(8.21.26). Day one, and there is a problem. Because I am an HHonors member. I chose my room and checked in prior to arrival. When I arrived, there was a change made in my app, and my pre-check-in was erased. I am not happy that NOTHING was honored in my preferences. I am here for one month on business. Why offer this service when it is not honored? To make matters worse, I am a TRAVEL AGENT; evidently, Hilton does not need any additional business that I could possibly send.

This hotel was in poor repair; holes in wall, halls beat up, poor ventilation, blinds don' work, toilet takes for ever to fill. Not very clean . The breakfast was good but not good enough to justify the $174 week night rate. Definately not up to Hilton/Hampton Inn standards.
