Park Place at City Centre

This hotel is an older facility, and is pretty much a basic hotel. Not a lot of amenities, however its clean, and easy to get to. There is a shuttle bus which can take you back and forth which was very helpful since my husband was in Methodist Hospital. Room service did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and restocking! Hotel staff were friendly, but when I told the front desk that my TV was not working, I was told they would have someone fix it. But that never happened. Maybe because I was there with the upcoming July 4 weekend, they just could not get to my room to check on it. Candlewood Inn is adjacent to Park Place, which seems to be an upscale place to stay compared to Park Place.

Check in was at 3 I asked if we could put bags in room or somewhere since we wouldn’t make it back until after big ten championship game. So I was told yes I could check in early but room wasn’t ready so let us put bags in a room. Get back after game have to go to hotel across street to get key and was told he didn’t have key to get bag so we had nothing but clothes on our backs. Room was ok two separate bed rooms were nice. Bed was ok but only one bedroom had s tv.

Very Good Service and Facilities are OK based on the cost. The Hotel is near the place I was looking for to stay and reduce the cost of transportation was perfect option. The facilities are clean and cozy
