Hotel Review I stay at the DoubleTree whenever I visit Davenport, and I always appreciate the excellent care and hospitality I receive. A special shout-out to Nathan, the hotel manager, for going above and beyond to take care of his guests. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine commitment to making guests feel welcome deserve big kudos. Thank you, Nathan, for consistently making my stays comfortable and enjoyable. You are a great asset to the hotel!

Here is a summary of the condition of the room in which I stayed for one night: * The floor was visibly dusty and dirty. Since I had not brought slippers, I wore white socks while walking around the room. By the end of the evening, the bottoms of my socks were so filthy that I threw them in the trash rather than put them in my dirty-laundry bag. * I stayed in a room with two queen beds. One of the beds had obvious indentations on both sides, as though someone had been lying on top of the bedspread before I arrived. This certainly did not give the impression that the room had been thoroughly cleaned and prepared for a new guest. * When I took out a paper cup to make coffee, I found dirt inside the cup. At that point, I lost any desire to make coffee, or consume anything else, in the room. * The shower was also unacceptable. There was pink mold in the shower, hair along the edge of the shower, and visible dirt around the bathmat. When I expressed my displeasure to a staff member while checking out, he asked whether I had plans for breakfast. I told him that, based on the condition and cleanliness of my room, I would not feel comfortable eating in the hotel restaurant. I have stayed at DoubleTree Hotels before and have always had good experiences, which made this stay particularly disappointing. The condition of this room was not simply below expectations—it was disgusting and unacceptable.

This hotel was part of a hotel block for an event. When we checked in, we were advised that there was no parking available and we would need to find street parking in the area. The main common spaces in the hotel were clean and the staff was very friendly. Once we were in the room, the room was clean enough. The bedding had seen better days and the bathroom could use an overhaul. The bathroom was also super tiny which was a challenge for our family of 3. I would not stay at this hotel again.
