Quality Inn And Suites Decorah

We had just driven 9 1/2 hours and wanted a clean, quiet room to sleep. The desk clerk gave us one near the end of hall on back side of hotel and we were very pleased! AC worked wonderfully (not loud turning off and on), clean, quiet, bed comfy. Rode around cute little Decorah briefly, saw waterfall-we'll be back next time. Sorry I don't remember a lot of other details-but I did want to rate this one on what we did notice - 5 stars! NOTE: no one, except hubby, tells me what to review.

Other workers were great but they need a better manager. I never seen a manager so bad like the one in this hotel I seen the staff doing a lot better if they get a new manager but if they keep this all your workers are going to start leaving

The room was comfortable. The hotel offers coffee to anyone at no charge. That’s great. But some people like to drink water. Why is coffee free and yet we cannot get free water except from a faucet? Reward members get one small bottle of water for there stay. Why must non coffee drinkers have to pay for a bottle water? Where the coffee is free. There is a cost in purchasing the coffee grounds and the filter for making the coffee. Yet it is complimentary to all guests. Yet water in a bottle is not and the quality of the water from a faucet on average is not as good as bottled water. Plus trying to fill a container to hold water in sink in a guest room is very cumbersome. Treat coffee drinkers and non coffee drinkers the same. Little 6 or 8 ounce bottles of water a slap in the face. A 16 oz or so would be more appropriate. Or have water fountain or water dispenser that guests can use. If there is one in the building your front staff is unaware of it or not inclined to tell the guests that information. I would like to hear back management as to why coffee drinkers get complimentary coffee and yet non coffee drinkers have to pay the going rate for a bottled water from a vending machine which may or may not dispense said bottled of water late at night where is available to offer a refund or replacement bottled because they are usually managed by a vendor.
