HILTON GARDEN INN DES MOINES-U

Very expensive for what the rooms are ! We got the “special room rate” for a block of rooms reserved for a wedding, about $60-70 dollars MORE a night than we could have booked online ! And breakfast NOT included, $14.99 for a basic breakfast buffet you find at others hotels but are complimentary to guests ! Items were not even hot ! Rooms were far behind what is expected at $179. per night. Need updating and refurbishing. Would not recommend !

Hilton Garden Inn is always good for business trips, but this one is particularly good within the chain. Friendly staff, good rooms, and quiet despite being next to the highway. As always with HGI: good internet, a desk with a good work chair. Highly recommended: The Texas Roadhouse right next to the hotel - you can order a beer with your steak since you don't need a car. Tip: The concierge has a 10% discount coupon.

Friendly welcome by Lacy! Check in was very easy. Dog friendly. Warm, clean, cozy room. We will pin this hotel for future travels.
