Days Inn Ottawa

Good place to stay, affordable, good location. Their is a Walmart, fast food, coffee, gas stations, all with in walking distance. Downtown is easy to get to from this place. I thought the room smelled like fresh laundry, so that was really nice after a long car trip.

Riff Ram Bah Zoo!!!! It was a good game to watch TCU vs Kansas. The drive was not that bad and only took 30 minutes to Lawrence. I loved the Wheat fields in Kansas and look forward to going back one day.

I like that carpeting has been replaced by planked flooring. Room has larger mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee pot. I have stayed twice now, in July and August, my room was clean and bathroom was very clean. Manager and his wife were friendly and accommodating and told me if I needed anything to just let them know. Although they offer breakfast I did not partake so I can't speak to what is on it. There is a washer and dryer on premise if needed. While there is a pool, it has not been open either stay. There was nothing I experienced that would be a "deal breaker" for staying. I felt very safe staying there. There are plenty of fast foods across the street, Applebee's is close, and you can walk to Old 56 Restaurant....they share access. This is a budget hotel, an older hotel, but a clean place to sleep, and I can recommend it.
