DAYS INN BOWLING GREEN

Roaches everywhere, dirty and dishonest. Broken ice-maker, in-room phone did not work (so we had to walk down to the front desk and show the attendant a video of the roaches in our room). We stopped in on a whim, coming home from Florida, for a mother-daughter overnight, thinking we would explore the caves, museums and parks in the area the next day. However, we checked out shortly after checking in, after seeing roaches in one room, and then a second room. Cockroaches were everywhere, mostly dead and dying, but our room also had a living one, which we caught on video. The front desk attendant assured us of a refund, but we still have the charge on our credit card, one month later, and after multiple phone calls, it is obvious they have no interest in refunding us. A warning to all; there are much better options available than Days Inn. We will never stop at a Days Inn again. Disgusting.

Our room key was keyed wrong and we couldn’t open our room the second night there. Also had missing light fixtures and a sketchy breakfast. Would not recommend.

Staff were great. Breakfast is nothing special and limited variety. We needed two remotes to get the TV to work. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is the second time we have found a live cockroach in our room. This year's room also smelled musty. I cannot recommend this hotel, other than it was inexpensive.
