Days Inn Louisville Central University and Expo Center

This property is very run down, has a nasty smell of natural gas that will make you feel sick if you are staying in one end of the building. The location is not in a great part of town next to a liquor store, smoke store, and gas station. after dusk there seems to be much illegal activity. Pack a gun if you stay.

This is a MOTEL not a HOTEL. The wording is misleading on all the sites. It is newly remodeled but the shower is disgusting and there is no curtain. We had to make the bed ourselves. Was hesitant about it even being clean. Overpriced for what we walked into. It’s also right next to a highway so it’s super loud. The only reason I give it two stars is because the staff is very friendly. We were very disappointed and won’t be staying here again

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough, but the fitted sheet was on inside out which always seems suspicious to me, like its just been turned inside out from the last occupant. The desk was so wobbly, it almost collapsed under the weight of the car keys. Was unusable. The bathtub/shower was very warn out, the bottom was warped and uneven. A real hazard for anyone not steady on their feet. Location wasn’t great, behind a gas station and close to train tracks. Good enough for a one night stay on our way through.
