Quality Inn Lafayette

We travel with dogs, so stay at Motel 6 as they are pet friendly! We have never been to Lafayette so we’re not familiar with this facility. The very first thing we noticed was the grounds are impeccably clean. Our room was clean. It was a pleasant surprise as motel six are not necessarily kept maintained well. This one was clean and comfortable. If we are ever back in the area, we will not hesitate to stay here.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel full of thieving employment. I came to the hotel in the afternoon, the front desk said we could set everything up and head to work. Once we came back we found out our lunch had been thrown out and we were missing our some of our belongings, including money. This hotel isn’t trustworthy since they stole from us and refuse to accept responsibility and acknowledge their faults. You might as well stay under a bridge rather than staying at this thieving hotel.

I would definitely NOT RECOMMENDED this place to anyone. This Motel 6 has bedbugs!!! My husband and I stayed there in September (transit), from 1 am to 7 am and woke up with multiple bites !!! When we inspected the bed, we found a few live bedbugs. There were baby bedbugs, as well as old shells from adult bedbugs (long past molting). We also found a lot of old blood stains on pillows (not the pillow case) from previous occupants’ bites. All this shows that the bedbugs in this Motel 6 live much more comfortably than people! We caught some live bedbugs into a glass and brought it to the front desk. The staff at this motel are not trained to recognize bedbugs... Seems like they don’t do basic inspection with routine cleaning. So our vacation was ruined from the start... as after we arrived to Florida, we could not fully enjoy the beach/pool as our bodies were covered in inflamed, obvious bedbug bites. Long story short - don't waste your time, money and health at this Motel 6!!!
