Towneplace Suites Lafayette

I don’t understand what is going on. I booked my reservation back on January 19, 2026 and one (1) week before my trip you’re going to email me (NOT EVEN CALL ME) to tell me my reservation been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances” and NO OTHER EXPLANATION? I called the front desk on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 6:30am (Hawaii Standard Time) so 12:30pm Indiana local time- spoke with a Vanessa, left my contact information name and telephone number and advised her I’d like the hotel GM to call me back due to aforementioned and till today, Friday May 8, 2026 10:56am Hawaii Standard Time (4:56pm Indiana Local Time) I get NO call back. I’m coming all the way from Hawaii for a graduation at Purdue University and you’re going to email me a week before my stay to tell me my reservation got canceled… WHY? I know i got a 2 bedroom suite for all 5 days for a really great price of $1,300 and now you wanna get the room for $900 for just one night but that’s NO reason to just cancel my reservation and don’t your customer back. This is poor business ethics and Marriott International as well as all social media platforms will hear about this, cause this is very UNPROFESSIONAL. Update- 5/17/2026 still NO CALL OR EXPLANATION despite numerous reaching out.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was amazing and very helpful especially the general manager Mel & Tanessa. I enjoy the cookies and extra points at check in.
