Magnificent stay at Elysian Fields Inn!
Besides the convenience of the location, in the heart of the Marigny neighborhood, within walking distance of all the points of interest in New Orleans, the building has character and is very well maintained (both outside and inside), we had room 102, just after the entrance, on the left, and everything was perfect! Everything is thought out in the smallest details for you to have a pleasant stay, even down to the earplugs... because, after all, it's New Orleans, so it's lively :-)) That's also why we came!
Our hosts, Michelle and Bob, were considerate, gave good advice, and were available.
The breakfast room is warm and the breakfast is excellent and typical (we discovered "grits", and we are fans!)
