Garden District B&B

We had a great time at the Garden District B&B! We stayed in the Rose Room which was lovely. It's on the second floor facing the back, so it was nice and quiet, and the separate kitchen area allowed us to have morning breakfast in our room. The location is amazing, there's the 11 bus right around the corner, and the St Charles Streetcar (which we took most of the time) was a short and pleasant 10 minute walk away. Ray was a proactive and accommodating host. If you're visiting New Orleans and are looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend the Garden District B&B!

This is the perfect location to enjoy the Garden District, we stayed for 9 nights and walked everywhere. Our room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The hosts were very congenial and helpful with local recommendations of places to eat and things to see.

We reserved this wonderful gem for Friday through Sunday. We've stayed in several of the expensive NO hotels over the years and Garden District B&B is by far the best accommodations in all of New Orleans. Our plans were adjusted and we stayed at the Omni on the Thursday before. We suffered a half hour check in wait, $56 one night parking, and just plain rude staff. What a world of a difference at Garden District B&B. We arrived early, and no problem to check in early and no wait. Our room had a kitchen with toaster, microwave and freezer/fridge. It was clean, neat, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Parking on street was free and very safe. Neighborhood is very nice and safe. Lots of convenient restaurants and walking distance to most everything. Raynell is a wonderful host. As a seasoned traveler, this B&B is on the top of my list. Can't say enough wonderful things about it.
