I wish I could give this place a higher score. Front desk staff, I didn't catch her name but she was originally from Haiti, was absolutely awesome and made sure that our group had four rooms close together. MUCH appreciated! Location was good, easy off/on Interstate 10. Waffle House, Pop Eyes and a gas station right next door. Rooms were large. Breakfast was decent (except see about the spoiled milk below). That's the good part. Bad part: We used our towels on morning 1 and 2, and I requested housekeeping on day three. Got back in the evening, and of our FOUR rooms (eight adults) we had exactly TWO clean towels. No wash cloths, no hand towels, no bath mat. Gal at the desk said housekeeping is gone and she can't do the laundry. Many other guests were experiencing the same issue. I offered to do some towels just so we'd have some fresh in the morning and she told me it would still cost me to use the [ay machines and laundry soap. Those who showered that night used pillow cases as towels. Truly unbelievable. Day 4 one of our rooms still had no towels although the dirty ones had been removed. Fortunately we were able to get some from the desk (why weren't they in the rooms???). When we arrived, my room had NO fridge, NO microwave, and the single serve coffee maker was missing its little tray on which to put the coffee packs, so I couldn't make coffee. I asked for something at the desk and all they had were the little packs of coffee. No little tray/drawer to hold the coffee. I did get fridge and microwave on day three after asking several times. Bathroom doors are made of crappy material and were swollen to the point that it was extremely difficult to shut them and open them. Day three, one of my clients poured milk on her cereal and it was the consistency of cottage cheese and snot. ALL the milk cartons had expired, some had gone bad. Despite all these issues, we enjoyed ourselves, and most of the staff were great. I'm still shaking my head about the lack of towels, because when you're out in steamy New Orleans all day, you really need to take a shower when you get back to the hotel. Would I stay here again? Honestly, I probably would. These problems are easily fixed, and I do hope they get fixed. The location was excellent and the price was reasonable. Beds were comfortable. Nights were quiet. So despite my short term 2 star review, I would and will give them another chance. Just make sure to grab extra towels when you arrive; we wish we'd done that on day one when they were available.

Stay away from this hotel! First of all check in was extremely slow. Front desk staff friendly but reader was down for credit card payment. You have to fill out registration. Making copies of credit card and I.D. was worrisome. Then we had to change rooms 3 times! Various reasons. Entrance door was stuck had to push really hard to open then it squeaks really loud. Found a live wasp in air vent due to a lil hole in wall that leads to outside! Then 2nd room, door would not lock from inside or out. Anyone could walk in at anytime. 3rd room when you open door wreaks of cat smell. We were exhausted from changing rooms and had already been there an hour after check-in so we just stayed in the third room and went and bought disinfectant spray and I have my own personal room spray.
The walls, especially in the bathroom was peeling really bad and the bottom of the shower looked unfinished or poorly installed. The bath towels looked very dingy and wrinkled. Refrigerator never got cold. We sprayed everywhere we had to touch because this hotel needs to be shut down and remodeled. For a Radisson property I was very shocked and the pictures on the website are very deceiving. I understand that this is not a five star hotel but it needs to at least be up to cleanliness standards.
I would look elsewhere if you need to find a room that’s inexpensive. I wish I would have read the reviews before staying here. Thank goodness we were only there for one night as we were headed to a cruise the next day.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in the United States, and I have stayed in more than 15 hotels across the country.
The first issue is that the advertising does not match the reality of the rooms. Most photos show rooms without carpet, but in reality most rooms have carpet, which is misleading.
When we arrived, we were placed in a room that was completely unusable. A large portion of the carpet was soaked with water, the toilet would not flush, and the room clearly should never have been assigned to guests. When we went to the front desk to report the issue, one staff member even told us that the room should not be in use. This raises a serious question: why was a guest placed in that room in the first place?
We were then moved to another room, but the process took a very long time because we were told no other rooms were available.
Unfortunately, the problems continued in the second room. The carpet at the entrance was torn with nails sticking out, which is a serious safety hazard. The shower was difficult to operate, and the door did not function properly. I had to go down to the front desk two more times just to address basic issues that should never exist in a hotel room.
On top of that, there was no body wash in the bathroom. I asked for it the next day, but it was never replaced, and the room was not serviced either.
This stay was especially disappointing because we came here to celebrate my son’s birthday with our family. Instead of enjoying our time, we spent it dealing with problems that reflect very poor maintenance and management.
I truly hope management takes this situation seriously, because no family should have to go through an experience like this when staying at a hotel.
