Bar Harbor Motel

We were a bit hesitant to book a motel. However, this motel had a nice setting in the trees and all the room blocks (4 rooms per block) were set off the main road. It felt a little like a camp as we walked to the main building for breakfast each day. Buffet breakfast was nice to have. Our room was clean and the shower worked great. The motel was very quiet. We appreciated the helpful staff. We enjoyed the “make your own trail mix” morning. We appreciated all the suggested dining choices and trails and all the other suggested activities that were available at the front desk. As others have said, park your car at the motel and ride the free Island Explorer bus.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay at Bar Harbor Motel. Lobby area was well equipped and breakfast was very good. Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bar Harbor Motel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the showers had marvelously hot water. The brekkie had many a variety of hot/cold items and the coffee was delicious. We enjoyed this location because of the ease of the Island Explorer and access to the restaurants downtown (so we didn't have to pay for parking). Onsite laundry is very convenient. We would stay here again!
