Kennebunk Gallery Motel & Cottages

The motel was fine, and the pool area was nice. I called the hotel directly rather than going through an online platform. I asked if they could match the advertised price on one of the major platforms, and was told "yes, sure." So, I made a reservation for 2 nights and asked for an email receipt. The gentlemen explained that his wife and son had stepped out for dinner, but said his wife would send the email later. I called again two days before the trip, as I hadn't received the email. Again, the same man answered and explained that he "didn't really know about email" but assured me things were all set. At checkin, I was charged $50 more than the agreed upon rate. I did explain the situation, but the lady basically said that the price I was telling her never happened -- and went on to say she was already giving me a discount. I explained again, and again was dismissed. So, I just let it go. My advice: Be sure you get an email receipt stipulating exact price before going.

Inexpensive spot in Kennebunk. Nothing fancy - but cottages were quiet and had what we needed for a one night stay. I would think it would be good with kids as it has a nice pool and play area - backs up to woods which gives it a nice private feel.

We have a large family (9 kids ) and way back in maybe 2005 we needed a place to stay and no one would rent to us when you said this many kids ! Well Kathy and John did and we have been going since . Missed a few years in between but now all the kids our grown and they each rent there own cottage and the grandkids love it ! Cottages are always clean ! Showers are always hot for all of us ( we are up to 7 cottages being used ) and beds are comfortable! The pool is spotless and amazing! Now they have a new playground and it was awesome! The kids loved it ! They have basketball too .They have grills you can use and everyone has access to a picnic table . We love it ! Kids can ride scooters and stuff too ! It is very quiet too ( except when we come because we have so many kids 😊) ! Locations is awesome! You can walk to Dairy Queen and Kennebunk down town if you like a little exercise!
