The Colonial Inn

Yes this hotel may be old and rustic, but, refreshingly, housekeeping is, without having to request it, daily, dependable, and thorough. The king bed and plentiful pillows were the best we experienced while staying two weeks in Maine. We had a spacious room and having booked a deluxe ocean view, had a spectacular view of the sunrise and beach. The location for the property cannot be beat. The complimentary breakfast was more than continental and had a good selection. I would stay here again in a minute and recommend this hotel to others.

We had a very nice stay at the Colonial Inn. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the lobby was very inviting with many areas for relaxing and lounging. The location can’t be beat as it’s central to the ocean, marginal Way, shops and restaurants. It was very clean and an added plus was the continental breakfast and heated pool and hot tub. The staff was helpful when needed. This was our second time staying at the Colonial Inn. We will definitely be back.

Our stays at The Colonial Inn are always great. The staff very attentive and friendly. The large porch is a wonderful spot to relax, read, visit with others.
