Fleetwood House Bed & Breakfast

When I arrived, the living room was on the right there were cat toys all over the floor and the large couches were covered obviously for the cat. There was a note that said don’t let the cat out while we never saw the cat, I smelled cat urine and there was cat food at the front door. There was nothing in the booking about an animal running around the house and my wife is allergic to cats in addition the room they wanted us to stay in was dirty. All the windowsills were dirty. The armoire had dirt and dust in the corners and the bathroom shower was dirty on the bottom and up and down the sides there was grunge/dirt and in the in between the glass doors and the shower and the shower walls. We left rather than stay in those conditions.

Linda is a wonderful host (and husband Jim is too). We stayed two nights and loved both breakfasts. The Edith Ann room was roomy and comfortable, added to by the air conditioner. We had a private bath. Fleetwood House is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood but easy distance from the airport. I would stay there every time.

We had such a wonderful three-night stay at Fleetwood House. The bed is so comfy, and Linda’s breakfasts are utterly delicious! The house is in a really cute suburban spot, with a gorgeous tree outside that makes for a picturesque autumnal stay. They are great hosts, and we had a nice time chatting at breakfast with the other guests. A perfect spot to explore Portland from, and great value for money. We forgot how nice it is to stay in a proper, old-fashioned bed & breakfast - felt really welcomed and taken care of. The rooms are lovely, with a very clean and well—appointed shared bathroom. Would recommend to anyone, and would definitely stay again!
