MONACO BALTIMORE, A KIMPTON HOTEL

Is there Zero star for service ???? Never before have I seen a hotel set the service bar so impressively low and then work tirelessly to stay below it. •Check-in at 4 PM. Room at 8:30 PM? Not quite. The front desk's favorite phrase was "We're working on it." Though I got the room after haggling, My colleagues ran out of patience and eventually solved the problem themselves by booking rooms elsewhere by 9pm!!!!. •Bathroom experience: Why settle for a shower when you can enjoy a shower and an indoor pool at the same time? Water generously flowed into the dry area of the bathroom, turning it into a mini swimming pool. •Breakfast service: Ordered fruit platter at 8:50 AM. Waited until 9:50 AM. Left hungry. The fruit may still be on its way. list runs on..... The staff deserve recognition for maintaining the same level of indifference throughout the stay. Consistency is important in hospitality, after all. Recommendation: If you value your time, patience, and self-worth, look elsewhere. This hotel will remain memorable for all the wrong reason

Our love affair with Kimpton began with our first stay at the Monaco Inner Harbor in 2009, shortly after it opened. Over the years, the management at this amazing hotel has consistently given my wife Cecilia and I VIP treatment, even before we reached Inner Circle status and our latest stay was no exception. Cecilia called the front desk a couple of days before we checked in to inquire if an early check-in would be available. Even though the hotel was sold out the day or our check-in, the amazing guest services supervisor Kate went above and beyond by not only upgrading us to a spacious one bedroom suite but had housekeeping prioritize the turnaround of that suite the morning of our check-in so that we had early access! That early check-in set a positive tone for our entire stay and was very much appreciated. This was also our first stay at the Monaco since the renovations of the lobby level and rooms were completed and the management did a fantastic job on the overall refresh. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay and cannot wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s stunning historic architecture and beautiful design. The building has so much character while still offering all the modern comforts. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally clean. The large rooms made our stay even more comfortable, and the entire hotel was spotless and well maintained. The location is fantastic—we were able to easily walk to the Inner Harbor, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and many great restaurants and attractions, making it easy to experience the best of Baltimore. One of the things that truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding customer service. We received thoughtful daily text messages checking in to see if we needed anything, and the staff was always friendly, responsive, and eager to help. If you’re looking for a beautiful, historic hotel with spacious rooms, an unbeatable location, exceptional cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore. We would absolutely stay here again.
