Couldn’t spend the night here. I brought two dogs and one kept chasing roaches around the room. Found her chopping a roach in half by the bathroom. Went to dinner and came back to no hotel staff in the lobby, the lobby doors wide open, and a creepy man trying to catch my attention with kissy noises as I hustled to the elevator. Stains on everything in this hotel. Rooms smells of mold. Vents are covered in grime, despite the front desk telling me they were recently cleaned. Windows don’t even open, so expect being trapped with that nasty air.

Sheets were torn and dirty. Air conditioning was broken. Absolutely disgraceful [room 602]
Imagine booking 3 rooms and getting broken air conditioning, no hot water and sheets that are torn and dirty! Stay away from here it’s a waste of money

I was initially hesitant to book this hotel after seeing its low star rating, but I hadn’t read any reviews at the time. I was in town for my nephew’s basketball tournament, and since the team was staying here, I wanted my children to be able to socialize with their peers—so I decided to give it a chance, hoping it wouldn’t be as bad as the rating suggested. Unfortunately, I quickly realized it was.
Upon arriving, the first red flag was the parking ramp—it was old, poorly maintained, and had a grimy, neglected feel. Things improved slightly in the lobby, which appeared presentable. However, once we reached our floor, the conditions drastically declined. The hallway had peeling wallpaper, exposed tape holding an exit sign together, and an overall eerie, outdated appearance that felt like something out of a horror film.
When we got to our room, I was immediately disappointed. The room featured an old, dirty, and outdated sofa, and instead of the double queen beds I had booked, there were two very small twin beds. The ceiling had odd red stains, the walls had peeling paint and visible water damage, and there were rust spots throughout. I called the front desk to ask if any updated rooms were available, and the representative seemed confused by the question—definitely a red flag. They did offer to switch our room, but the new one wasn’t much better: still dirty, another questionable sofa, and two small beds. While there were no stains on the ceiling in this room, there was strange writing on the window and a noticeable stain on the foam beneath the A/C unit.
At one point, my son opened the sofa bed to sit and play a video game, and I thought I saw what looked like a mouse dropping. I brushed it off, thinking I must have been mistaken. Despite my reservations, my daughter wanted to stay, so I decided to give it a chance.
The next evening, around 9 PM, I was ready to relax when I saw a mouse run across the floor in front of the TV stand. I immediately called the front desk, and the response was disturbingly casual: “Okay, I’ll call someone to come get it.” By the time a staff member arrived, the mouse was gone, and they made no real effort to resolve the issue. I had to go through all our belongings, repack everything, and leave the hotel at 10 PM—alone with two children.
After this incident, I finally read the online reviews and was shocked to find that rodent issues have been mentioned repeatedly. Yet the hotel continues to operate without resolving the problem. In many of the management responses, there is little to no acknowledgment of the pest complaints. This kind of disregard for guests' health and safety is absolutely unacceptable.
Additionally, the hotel is misleading in its advertising. The rooms are not as described, and they claim to have amenities like a pool, which has apparently been closed for years. It’s clear the owner prioritizes profit over guest well-being and is unwilling to invest in proper maintenance or cleanliness.
When I checked out, the staff seemed completely unfazed by the situation. There was an apology but it was clear this kind of complaint was not out of the ordinary.
This experience was appalling. I will be reporting this hotel to every platform I can, so other travelers are not misled or subjected to these unsanitary and unsafe conditions. If the hotel cannot be properly maintained, it should not be operating.
