Sleep inn & Suites Upper Marlboro

This hotel is in desperate need of complete renovation. Starting with the beds, which were so awful the mattresses had sink holes all through them and springs were actually poking out into our backs. The floors felt sticky so they will want to clean that better.. the TV did not work very well -not sure if it was storm related. The air conditioning barely worked. Only positive thing I would say is the breakfast, which was good.

This hotel was very nice at a good price. A bit out of town but with a rental car, close enough to everything. We had a few issues with our keycard working but the staff was excellent, efficient, and polite in replacing it. One thing we especially liked is that our room had nice tile flooring instead of carpet. Soooo much nicer to walk on! We’d definitely stay here again!

I would not stay here again. They don't use air conditioning in the common areas. The first floor reeks of cigarette smoke and the carpet is dirty and sticky. The fllor in the elevtor is sticky, too. Our room, 113 smelled like cat pee. Our other room 117 reeked of cigarette smoke. There was rust around the fixutres in the bathroom. They obviouly don not care about the condition of this property
