Comfort Inn Auburn

The lobby was attractive and the staff was very nice, but the room was pretty grim. Holes and scuff marks on the walls, broken tile, rock hard and ancient bed with stains on the visible box spring, stained carpet as well. Not acceptable for $157/night or at any price for a hotel. Urge the owners to put some resources into this place and until then - book elsewhere!

The hotel needs renovation, the breakfast was terrible. Housekeeping lady came to my door at 10:45 am to ask if I was checking out today. Check out is 11:00.. A person was asleep on the sofa in the lobby when I checked in. Please don't stay here. I went next door to the La Quinta the next evening and saved myself 10 bucks.

The hotel is clean and quiet. No matter what you read, they don’t take dogs. That is not correct on the website. This is a no nonsense, basic hotel for the price.
