Bricco Suites

We really enjoyed the location of the Bricco Suites- located on Hanover in a great location with access to fabulous Italian eating. The restaurant selection was overwhelming and the pastry shops were numerous. The suite was nice for our purposes and the bathroom in the suite was modern, clean, and with the double shower head, it was quite divine. The reason for the 4/5 rating?....there was not couch or comfortable place to sit in our double queen suite (401). There was certainly room for it if the kitchen area table was smaller and had smaller chairs. The dining chairs were tattered and could have been updated. The mattresses were VERY firm and one of the bedrooms was right over the busy roadway. Traffic noise was insane, but I had read another review that mentioned bringing earplugs, so that is what I did and we all used them, otherwise we couldn't have slept well. Staff was friendly. Other guests were loud and you could hear everything going on in the room above us and when they came down the stairwell. Overall a fine stay and I would consider staying here again.

the room was great and the location was also great. The bad was they do not tell you that it is a walkup only, no elevator and a 4-story narrow spiral staircase that was 49 stairs to the 4th floor and the room numbers are confusing as room 204 was on the 4th floor. Also the AC in the room was located next to the bed and the bed was on the street side of the building so you had all of the night life noise, and every morning at 4;00 AM you had trash trucks running and collecting trash for about 30-45 minutes that was followed by food delivery trucks around 6:00AM. This would have been lessoned had the rooms been built with the bed in the back.

Our suite was beautiful. Clean, spacious, and cozy. Its location is ideal, too. We had a delicious dinner at Brico restaurant and then moseyed on up to bed. So convenient and reasonably priced.
