A good hotel with a few niggles that stop it being a great hotel The positives: The location is great, only a short walk from Boston Common and within reasonable walking distance of many city attractions. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Despite being on a major thoroughfare, the hotel never felt noisy and we had no problems sleeping. Our room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was great with a nice shower. The bed was very comfortable. A good-sized wardrobe / closet with a decent number of hangers. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were there during the football (soccer) world cup and many staff were wearing jerseys for some of the teams / countries taking part. The breakfast buffet is good if you're looking for standard US diner-style food (eggs bacon, pancakes etc) and the chef will make omelettes to order. There was also plenty of fruit on offer if you wanted a healthier option. Breakfast seemed to be the responsibility of only one server however he did a great job and we were always well looked after. The negatives: There was very little shelf space (i.e. one high shelf inside the wardrobe / closet) and no drawers at all. We were staying for 5 nights and didn't have anywhere near enough storage for our clothes. The coffee machine in our room didn't appear to work and there was no milk or creamer anyway. The AC was quite fierce and we struggled to work out how to adjust it. We ended up having it on during the day, while we were out, and then switching it off overnight. If you didn't want to go for the hot breakfast items, there wasn't a great selection of cereals, meats cheeses, bread or pastries. The bar is fairly soul-less (it's really just an extension of the reception area) and drinks are very expensive, even by comparison with downtown bars. Overall we enjoyed our stay however there is definitely room for improvement

I absolutely loved this hotel! I was here for work, but I’d happily come back for a leisure stay. The manager, Emet, is amazing—so friendly and helpful. And the gym? Truly top-notch!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious with an amazing view. The hotel was very safe, and the staff really paid attention to you. The staff was very accommodating, especially Tony and Tommy. They provided restaurant recommendations, held our luggage for us, and were just overall extremely helpful and friendly. I look forward to staying here again!
