Marriott Quincy

We recently stayed at the Marriott Boston Quincy for a nearby wedding. My mother and son had a lovely time enjoying the hotel pool while we attended the wedding. After checking out, we had a few questions about the pricing on our bill. Event Manager Courtney Shilo was wonderful to work with. She listened to our situation, investigated quickly, and provided a great resolution that made us feel like valued Marriott clients. Her patience and help were much appreciated and made our stay completely worthwhile.

The view from this 8th floor corner palace gives you a view of downtown Boston — along with all the luxury here. It is nearly 1000’ feet of elegance laid out in a sprawling 1-BedroomSuite that even includes an extra half-guest bathroom (toilet/sink) at the entryway. Picture windows throughout and a giant dining room table perfect for entertaining. There’s an enormous TV and a full-sized couch. The bedroom door closes off and here there are 2 big closets and another couch, along with big-screen TV. The bathroom has double sinks and the shower is very roomy. You are just below the 9th floor Executive Lounge, where you can get breakfast beginning at 6:30 and it’s delicious — including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, Chobani yogurt, breads/bagels/sweet rolls and a variety of fresh-brewed coffees. Fitness Room is off the Lobby and it has everything, including room to spread out for stretching. The indoor pool was being serviced so it was closed but looks like it could be very enjoyable complete with chaise lounges. I read the reviews before I stayed here for business and cannot believe people said this hotel was clean???? my guess is these are purchased “bot” reviews because it’s definitely not clean! The carpets through the building are in need of a power scrub - heck just picking up the trash throughout the building and hallways would be a good start. And it definitely extends to your room! All a filthy mess. And the club room is no exception. Just look at the floors and furniture and windowsills and counters and see how filthy it all is. I wouldn’t eat or touch anything! If the common areas are so bad can you imagine how bad the kitchen is. And they leave the maids closets and back hallway doors open - look at your own risk. There’s lots of staff but nobody wants to be there and that tells me there’s an upper management problem! Nobody is clearly steering this ship. Yikes this place needs help! If you do decide to stay be sure to look down when you’re walking and avoided the trash throughout. People were talking about how bad it was in the elevator and I said I’m glad it’s not just me and they were like it’s not! Stay at your own risk until they remodel Or refresh and get a new management!
