Cape Colony Inn

Staying at the Cape Colony Inn is like coming home! The new general manager Luis and staff are so welcoming, they always are accommodating throughout the whole stay everyone is so friendly there they make you feel like family. It’s a great value the rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are even more comfortable than mine at home. They have a wonderful continental breakfast. The pool area is beautiful and always immaculate and the water is always heated to a perfect temperature. And at night, I love to sit around the fire pit. Another plus is that it’s dog friendly. It was always so stressful trying to find someone to watch the dog while we are away on vacation and I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I just bring her with us. It’s perfectly located in the east end of town and is nice and quiet and it’s only a short walk into town maybe it’s about a mile. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay and one that checks all the boxes do not hesitate to give the Cape Colony Inn a try. You won’t be disappointed!

We have been staying in Ptown for many, many years and have had accommodations in everything from an efficiency with a shared bath to a house we found on Verbo. When I say that this latest experience at the Cape Colony Inn, where we have never stayed, was exceptional and unexpectedly so, it truly was. I reserved a family suite back in February for the weekend after Labor Day directly through the website, and received an email promptly the next day from the management office. This was despite the fact that there was a major snow dump on the Cape and they still got back to me. The date finally came and we were given a room on the second floor next to the stairs, which we requested in person at the desk and they were able to accommodate. The breakfasts we enjoyed every morning were the usual Continental-Style with fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, juice, tea and coffee, but the best part was sitting outside and talking with the other guests. Such a friendly atmosphere and pure magic. The room itself could not have been more comfortable, with huge beds and plenty of room to move about and we really appreciated the separate vanity with sink outside of the tub and toilet room (with a door). All in all, a most comfortable room and we are already planning our return next year! Thank you so much!

We stayed here for five days during the World Cup. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The pool area was well maintained with a great water temperature and it was never overcrowded. The continental breakfast was a bonus and Luis and his team were very welcoming.
