Days Inn Danvers-boston Salem

My husband is an employee of Choice Hotels and we have stayed at MANY of their properties. This was the worst. I couldn’t shower because there was only one grab bar and in a poor location. The heater was on high and couldn’t be adjusted. My husband had to unplug it. We didn’t feel safe because of its location and other “guests”. Stay away from this hotel if at all possible. We moved to a different hotel at a greater cost but in the end, you get what you pay for.

Rooms are really run down. Carpet was frayed and very worn. Beds were not comfortable. Outside was very unkept with what appeared some sketchy looking people living at the hotel. One resident even had a bbq grill set up in the parking lot.

This place looks sketchy when you pull in. It is in need of serious repair on the outside. It definitely lacks in curbside appeal. The room itself was very clean but WIFI is slow and the TV doesn't offer many channels. It's very close to Salem, which is a plus. It offers a free continental breakfast. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Not exactly the kind of place I'd normally stay but friends made the reservation. We are only here to sleep. It's affordable.
