The Harborside Inn

This was the 5th year in a row that we stayed at the Harborside Inn As always everything was terrific The staff especially Carolyn and Abree are always there to help you with anything you need They are one of the many reasons why return every year!!!!!

We had the pleasure of working closely with the Harborside Inn team for a multi-day event this past August, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning right in the heart of Edgartown with beautiful harbor views that made for an unforgettable backdrop. What really stood out was how accommodating and collaborative the entire team was throughout our planning process. From coordinating logistics to being flexible with our production needs, they went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life. Their staff was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. The property itself is charming and well-maintained, with a warmth that made both our team and guests feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better partner to host our event, and we'd highly recommend Harborside Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a team that truly cares. Thank you to the entire Harborside Inn team for such a memorable week!

BEWARE! We booked and paid in full $3669 for 3 nights in a deluxe "harbor view" suite on January 24 (7 months ago). There is absolutely no harbor view in this room #501. This was an absolute bait & switch. The website shows a great room with amazing views of the harbor. Our room, photo attached. has a view of a party tent with room for about 100 people, 8 Feet from the "deluxe" suite. Nice view of the bartenders behind. We complained and were told there were no rooms available, however the next morning after much complaining, we were moved to a standard sidewalk side room. We were moved to a small standard sidewalk view room with 2 twin beds. We were ultimately given a credit for the price difference on night 1. The real kicker here is that we paid $1000+ for night 2&3 and were refused a price change. So we paid for a harbor view suite, and received a sidewalk view. Management and ownership were absolutely pitiful. Plenty of sorry, but no resolution and a lot of "not my fault". We asked for some sort of compensation and were denied past the first adjustment. There ruined what should have been a nice 3 nights on Martha's Vineyard. Out of pure decency, I will not give names here, but challenge the hotel to comment, refund or refute the attached photos or comments above.
