PILGRIM SANDS ON LONG BEACH

Stayed there for one night, the room was dirty with spiderwebs on the wall and bugs above the bed. Loud neighbors who smoked in a nonsmoking hotel. Front desk boy laughed when I told him are room was dirty. Waste of $$

It was cool enough for us to sleep with the curtains open so we could hear the waves - a "good sleep." Could we hear other guests outside? Yes - but it wasn't a bother or else we'd have closed our windows. We had an upstairs ocean view & our room was modern, clean & comfortable - we especially loved the modern bath mirror. We used the outdoor pool & swam in the ocean with some seals. We didn't use the bar, restaurant or hot tub but the outdoor pool was great- deep enough for water aerobics & away from the shallows with parents & small children. I would say the pool liner does need an update as an area outside the safety line dis have wrinkles. <--- that's our only critique. What was *exceptional* was the staff. From housekeeping to front desk to maintenance they were friendly & very helpful people. Next time we're in MA, we'll definitely stay here again.

We stayed during the 4th of July weekend and had an amazing time! The room was spotless. Loved the ocean view and the patio. Traffic Jam was the band on Saturday and they were so much fun! Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back.
