THE YANKEE CLIPPER INN

The Yankee Clipper is a beautiful location with a rich history and beautiful grounds. The atmosphere was charming and friendly, the food was a lovely light fare and ample food. The staff were very accommodating as I called due to health issues, I was unable to walk to a second floor. The rooms on the bottom floor were all booked. When I arrived they had managed to arrange my staying on a ground level. I found myself touched by their efforts and will always remember the staff for taking the effort to help with health issues beyond my control. I would highly recommend this Inn. It is an excellent choice for a couples get away. Charming and sophisticated.

This inn, BY FAR, is one of the nicest places at which I've ever stayed. This visit was for my 70th birthday, and by this age, I've had the privilege of staying at many upscale hotels and inns. However, this ranks above many. (Manager) Mike and his staff have seen to providing an exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated place (and the bonus is that it happens to be ON THE WATER overlooking Rockport, Massachusetts.) Nothing is forgotten or overlooked. We loved the bar & bites events and the delicious breakfast each morning. My significant other and I would give it 6 stars if possible. He had never been to this beautiful town, as I had, 35 years ago, and he was amazed at the quaint area, scenery, and these accommodations. Thank you to everyone at Yankee Clipper for helping to make my birthday weekend a truly memorable occasion. It was just amazing. When YOU go there, you will agree. It was just the greatest.

Amazing View in a lovely, historic Inn. The bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve slept in and the view from the balcony was incredible.
