Red Roof Inn Saugus

Place was clean, beds were comfy. Shower, fridge etc worked as it should. People were nice and neighbors were quiet. My only gripe is that it's hard to see to safely leave the parking lot.

I stayed here for one night before needing to go into Boston for an appointment, and it was a pretty good experience. There was ample free parking, and someone checked me in in the lobby. My room was on the first floor and the walls/door blocked most of the noise, although I could still hear people talking and a baby crying. The bed was big and the room was clean, which was really all I needed. This isn't a fancy hotel, so you get what you pay for, especially for a place on a busy thoroughfare. No breakfast is available, but there are restaurants nearby and a Whole Foods ~10 minutes away (in Melrose). This place is really halfway between a hotel and a motel, but is convenient if you need a place to stay.

The place is a dive! The room stinks, no wash towels, no hand towels, one bar of soap no conditioner or shampoo! The outside is not clean looking like the picture. It is a dive! Then I had reservation for a week! They said they only clean the room once on Wednesday. Absolutely worst place I have stayed in many years. I am only staying one night and checking out!
