Extended Stay Deluxe Boston - Waltham

The place could use some cleaning there were beer cans in the stairwell, cobwebs, the rugs smells and a giant stain in front of our door. The toilet had visible streaks. The microwave doesn’t spin just overall not what I would expect. The sink is dripping and it had a towel to catch it. I reported it and maintenance has yet to arrive. The staff though, very kind and helpful. If not at their desk you can always call and get support. Kim and I want to say their name is Tye is always present and greets you with a smile. Very informative and patient

BEDBUGS. Bitten all over. Front desk refused to believe me even after I showed them the bites. Front desk hostile when, twice, I reported BEDBUGS and one front desk guy even accused me of trying to get him to “admit” there were in fact BEDBUGS! I reported the BEDBUGS to the local department of public health, the state department, and the better business bureau. Fire detector in room broken. An employee disconnected it and never replaced it with a new one. Despite my requests. Missing lightbulb, broken electrical outlet. Drunk high people at all hours of day and night. Dogs barking at all hours. Two of the dogs were pit bulls! Drunks and loud speakers in parking lot. Even with windows closed. Prostitution! At check in, I saw one, and once in the elevator - unmistakeable hookers ratchet and skanky. And I heard one employee say to another, There she is again trolling for booty! Filthy everywhere. Room stank of cigarettes and urine. Urine stains in carpet. Filthy inside microwave- slimy goo. Hairs in bathtub. Behind toilet, hairs and debris. Used Q-tips and trash in hallways. At all times. Elevator broken whole time I was there, which was two weeks as I was in the middle of a move. One elevator worked for the whole hotel. Front desk very ghetto and ratchet and do not care one bit about their work. Filthy dishes, silverware, etc which you have to request. Literally caked on food! You have to ask for toilet paper! And clean towels/sheets! Housekeeping very rude and surly and incompetent. Open dumpster in parking lot and trash everywhere. I cannot stress enough the smell in the rooms and hallways. Like urine, smoke, and sour body odor. Breakfast a joke/ instant oatmeal and granola bars and coffee. I was out of the facility for 8-10 hour days so I just slept there mostly. Thank goodness. Should have found a better place but I reported all concerns and hoped for the best. Stayed late June 2026 into early July 2026. Finally, as the front desk people were hostile and rude about the BEDBUG situation, I decided to leave early and I did. As I was packing up, the front desk lady chased me to my room and I cannot make this up- was banging on my door and yelling at me that she needed to come into “her” room. She actually hammered on the door and when I locked it she banged on the safety lock trying to enter! This was scary and I was frightened for my physical safety. I cannot make this stuff up. I found room right away at the nearby Fairfield Marriott Suites which felt like the Ritz to me after this experience.

Wonderful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Shoutout to Kim for the great recommendations. The room is spacious and very clean. The approximately to the airport was nice after a long flight. Great hotel for the value you pay. Will definitely be coming back!
