Even though it was just the two of us, my husband and I chose the two bedroom suite just to have more room. I was disjointed to see the actual room. It was much smaller and because of the location of the room being near a wooded area the room was very dark. The lighting in photography makes a huge difference and our room did not look as bright and big as it did in pictures. There was no leather couch and the carpet in the room was buckled in places.
The bathroom vanity in the larger bedroom was the shortest vanity I've ever experience and I'm short. The toilet / tub area had been cleaned with either a stinky mop or rags and it smelled awful. I finally shut the door and used our other bathroom.
The hotel itself is in a very dead area as a previous review stated and not the most desirable area. The hotel itself is old with low ceilings in the narrow hallways. It feels cramped and old.
Aside from the one bathroom, it felt clean enough but overall I would not stay here if ever in the area again.

Crossing the country on a car trip, we most look forward to our planned stays at a Residence Inn because you always know what you’re going to get. This is a very consistent operation from one end of the country to the other: always clean, always a delicious breakfast, always with a well-outfitted Fitness Room. Our wonderful 3-day stay began with Nick on the Front Desk to the rescue to add a night at the last minute (we abandoned a high-end Marriott in another city early, probably because we longed to get to a beloved RI a day early). Weeks before our trip, GM Anna helped us select our room: a 2-Bedroom (King, Queen)/2-Bath (both with tubs) Suite with screened windows that opened for an evening breeze. The Fitness Room had free weights and breakfast (6 a.m. weekdays) was the usual tasty fare of scrambled eggs, egg/cheese/egg biscuit sandwiches, sausage, Chobani yogurt, 2% milk in individual bottles, plenty of breads and biscuits. Thank you again, Nick and Anna — and now onward in search of another Residence Inn as good as this one!

Conveniently located hotel that’s quieter than you might expect from its location on a crossroads. Clean and with the usual Residence Inn amenities like patio with firepit, basketball hoop, and pool. Staff was professional and friendly, especially the woman who ran the breakfasts. Would strongly recommend to Marriott corporate that they place a sign at the turn from Riverdale Street onto the hotel road (Border Way); it’s really hard to see (a problem compounded by a center guardrail and construction)— the hotel is set back from the main road and surrounded by trees.
