SUPER 8 WEST SPRINGFIELD /ROUTE 5

This property is very close to downtown, yet in a nice, mostly peaceful neighborhood. We felt very safe here, and the property is near a nice park, a very good museum, and lots of great restaurants. Breakfast is very good, with multiple options available. Rooms are great, with the beds being comfortable. Staff are very friendly. They frequently have sweets in the lobbies to snack on. They have some books and games available on the property. There are some small negatives- occasionally a loud motorcyclist passes by. Also, be aware they are liberal with the use of pepper on their egg products and grits. If you do not like that much pepper, I suggest you let them know. Nonetheless, this is an excellent place to stay.

DO NOT GO THERE!!! still advertises as a super 8! they are not! advertise breakfest included! False!!! Smells like weed in the enturance!! Cigaret smoke everywhere! Room not heated at our arrival , we were freezing! we were 3 in the room, only 2 towels, had to get mad to ge a third! Yelling in the hallway most of the night! place is discusting!!!!!!!! Poor service! Looks more like a hourly rent a room !!!!

Not really a good experience at all. Lack of maintenance would not have me recommend to anyone ever at all. Was not satisfied with my experience at all. The odor also was not pleasant whatsoever. Can do more to make the place more appealing.
