Rodeway Inn Metro Airport

Please do not waste your time money or life by staying here. I have never left a hotel, yet within 15 minutes of arriving last night I had left. Upon driving to park our car outside our first room we found someone living in their car doing drugs parked directly outside. On entering we found the sheets dirty and then someone started blaring their music from next door. We quickly headed back to reception and were given another room. This time deciding to leave our stuff in the car as we could see the door had been broken into for the room. On entering we found our door did not lock at all and the place was dirty. Outside the rooms people are hanging around. It is clear to see this is being used as somewhere cheap for those with little to no money. There are no people using this as an overnight hotel a lot of the rooms are being used long term. There was drug deals and prostitution right outside the block. We quickly packed up and headed back to reception to leave. I have never feared for my safety and have travelled and stayed in a variety of hotels, motels and hostels. We are being refused a refund for the night we booked. I want to ensure no one else falls victim to this awful place. I have included pictures from inside but did not feel safe enough to take any from outside the room

This place is awful, disgusting full of fleas and bugs, every since corner was dirty and sticky, this place should be close by the health department, I had a rash from the fleas in the sheets, we had to buy sheets and wipes to clean the whole place, is just awful and gross

Don’t typically stay at this type of place but was very tired of driving so stopped at first place we seen. $61 + $50 deposit. Only have to pay deposits at cheap hotels btw. Anyways room 101 was dirty when we arrived I gathered the things and took to front office as the room had been smoked in. Requested towels as none were left in the room. We slept, got up next morning to check out and the lady working came down smelled in the room accused us of smoking which neither of do and she refused to give us our deposit back. I have never been treated as disrespectfully being accused of something we did not do. Never has this happened with being a Choice Member for all these years. I know everything happens for a reason so all I can assume is she really needed that cash more than I did. SMH
