Free shuttle from 4 till midnight to the ballpark and other places. Rich the shuttle guy is amazing. Room TV was from the 80’s with a snowy picture. Room was musty smelling. But got better when we put the air on high. Great air conditioner. Quick walks to the riverfront. Great store across the street. The area around the hotel was not Beverly Hills. Beds comfy.

Great location, 2 blocks from Detroit Riverwalk. Although room was on the smaller side, they were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The refrigerator (large with a separate freezer!) and microwave were new and bathroom also appeared to be somewhat updated with a nice stand-up shower. The air conditioner was loud. Staff were pleasant/professional. Of note was Deanna who checked us in with a smile and went above & beyond to make sure our room had all we requested. Another great perk of the hotel is the great shuttle service. Richard, our driver, was warm, attentive and most important--on time--there when he said he would be and upon request. Breakfast was limited. Overall, met our needs with some aspects that exceeded expectations!

With all due respect to the workers here who do their best to make this motel hospitable, it’s a dump. It starts with the front desk staff secured behind bulletproof glass and goes downhill from there. I could elaborate, but what’s the point. I’ve been at worse hotels/motels but they were in remote areas and the rooms had holes in the walls where someone punched through it. Our room was clean and there were no holes in the walls, but that’s the best I can say about our stay.
