Let me tell you about this hotel’s amazing staff members, Jackie and Jerome. This was my third time staying at this location, and Jackie and Jerome are excellent representatives of this hotel and the Marriott brand. Each of them went above and beyond to make me feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during my stay, and greeted myself and every guest with genuine smiles when leaving and returning each day. Their kindness and work ethic (Jackie went out of her way to reassure me when dealing with a problem during check-in, and on two particular days during my stay, Jerome had come in on his day off to support the hotel staff!) absolutely did not go unnoticed, and is very, very much appreciated. Thank you for making this such an enjoyable stay!

First of all I would give a 0 HOWEVER, checking in with Jenifer M. Who was night shift deserves recognition for being THE BEST EMPLOYEE & deserves to manage & doesn’t belong here, she fits the Ritz & JW employee standards more. She is the only reason I have any nice words to say. The rest of the staff wouldn’t let me extend saying I wasn’t the ambassador my brother is which I have a girls name so That doesn’t even make sense & I checked in with My ID & the next employee saw it so ya they are not the brightest.

This hotel is overdue for renovation. Our room was dark even after turning on all the lights, the curtains didn't open properly to let in natural light. The bathroom still has the old shower/tub combo with a curtain rather than a more modern setup. I changed rooms due to mold in the first room. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the location did not feel walkable, even though the mall of America is close in driving miles.. Between the dated room and the inconvenient location, I wouldn't stay here again.
