Eden Prairie location was enjoyable. Very clean, fresh and seems like a new hotel. Shout out for Isabella who was meeting many needs with great hospitality and efficiency. The breakfast was above average and staff cook was efficient with a busy eating area and oh so pleasant. Recommended.

As a woman you may not feel safe here. I had a terrible experience at this hotel, an issue that even Hilton Corporate Guest Assistance ignored after I called to file a complaint following check-in. I had booked the Hampton Inn in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, for a corporate event with my clients over the weekend, resulting in a total of 28 reserved nights. Because it was my event, I had no option to stay elsewhere. That morning, I experienced a traumatic emergency and arrived at the hotel earlier than planned. At the front desk, I was met by a woman named Mary, whose response was shockingly rude and lacking in empathy. She completely stripped me of my dignity as I stood there sobbing. I explained that I had clients in the hotel at that moment and begged her to help me so they wouldn’t see me in that state. Eventually, I was able to reach someone I knew and stay in their room for a few hours until my own room became available. I filed a complaint with Hilton Corporate, and they assured me that someone would look into the situation and follow up. That never happened. While the weekend staff were kind and professional, my experience upon checkout was appalling. The manager, Scott, was dismissive, condescending, and even laughed at the situation at times, blaming and shaming me instead of showing compassion. Thankfully, I had begun recording, so I have everything on video. I am deeply disgusted by the behavior of these two staff members at the Hampton Inn Eden Prairie and extremely disappointed that Hilton Corporate has ignored my complaint and failed to address it during my stay. I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this hotel to anyone, especially women. Based on my experience, I do not believe it is a safe or supportive environment.

Hampton Inn in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is a clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The room, bedding, and temperature were comfortable. Rates are a bit pricey (over $200 a night plus tax) but, in general, worth it. The pool appeared to be clean and nicely maintained. Public areas, hallways, lobby, even the stairwells, were clean. The bathroom has a spacious countertop, but it also has, unfortunately, a sliding door, which affords little privacy or practicality. Rooms are tastefully understated and well lit. The hotel abuts a small lake with a short walking path—an unexpected feature in the middle of the suburbs. I was glad to see an semi-covered outdoor area for smokers. Aside from small things—a minor tear in some wallpaper and a nice in-room coffee pot with no coffee stocked until halfway through my visit—my stay was a good one. At times, internet connections were painfully slow and often lost. By the third night of my stay, I gave up on trying to use my laptop at all. Breakfast is included in the stay, but is so-so, and I skipped it after the first morning. Housekeeping service is provided every two days--a refreshing departure from most hotels who do not provide any housekeeping service at any point during the stay. Unfortunately, the hotel has neither a restaurant nor a bar. Be advised, too, that if the hotel is booked solid and you arrive late, you will not find a place to park—anywhere.
