The check-in was a real adventure with one of the desk clerks yelling into his phone in a full-on conversation with his family about who was at the house visiting and the soda he hated. That should’ve been a red flag. Get to our room after navigating the sketchy hallway and upon opening the door, we’re hit with the overwhelming smell of straight bleach. Sheets were clean (all that bleach, I guess), but that was it. Paint spills on the floor, leftover food in the fridge and the bathroom was disgusting to the point that I took some wet-naps I had and wiped down the sink area only, since I was not touching anything near the toilet. Did not use the discolored towels. That bathroom will haunt me.

When we arrived at the hotel, the concierge (Taylor) was on a phone call and cussing at the individual he was speaking to. He did not pause the phone call to speak to me and was very distracted the entire time, using hand signals and very few words to communicate with me. While we were unloading our luggage outside, he came outside to visit with someone and was using profane language in his conversation with them as well in front of our two young kids. The lobby and hallways all smelled like pot. There was lingerie in the hallway near the lobby on the floor. Our whole room was loudly vibrating and we had to move our bed away from the walls to minimize the shaking just to be able to sleep. There was also pet hair in our room that affected allergies of my family members. We had planned to stay four nights, but we checked out the following morning and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. That said, the concierge I dealt with the following morning (Angie) was very kind and helpful. She was quick to apologize, refund our full stay and made every effort to help me find headphones that I had misplaced.

Our experience at this hotel was a complete let down. I stayed here for an overnight layover with my 3 children on 7/5/25. We arrived around 10m. By 11pm I was at the front desk with a live bedbug in a napkin. The front desk staff (a man) was friendly but all he could do without the manager (not available until the weekdays) was change our room. We accepted a replacement room and after searching high and low for any bugs, decided to finally go to sleep around 1am, leaving the hotel by checkout. Bedbugs are clearly an issue at this location, as both employees who assisted us were not surprised that I had found them in my room. In addition, the mattresses are old and stained, the "breakfast" is a complete joke and $10 for parking that is not disclosed until you see the sign on their sidewalk as you enter. I left a message for the manager, Larry DePauw, once I arrived at my destination. It has now been a month and I still have yet to hear back from him. I had hoped to discuss my stay prior to leaving an unfavorable review, but he clearly doesn't seem to care about guests. I would advise anyone looking at this place to book somewhere else.
