HAMPTON INN SOUTHAVEN

Compared to the one we stayed in the night before this one missed the mark. Craftsmanship of doing remodel is poor. Our flooring didn’t meet the wall. TV was dirty in the corners of the screen. Doors need painted but the lobby is very nice. Staff was one girl at front desk. She was very nice. We had no ice bucket in room. Pool was clear but needed vacuuming. Just needs a little more help or effort. Would do again soon but expect it to go down hill and will not stay if a year from now.

This was the worst kept Hampton Inn we have ever experienced. The door to our room did not lock. The bathroom mirror had something on it in two places. I don’t believe it was cleaned. The smooth floors had a film on them that tracked when walked on. The carpet needed to be vacuumed. The bathroom door scraped the vanity top when opening or closing. We were on the last leg of a 2000+ mile road trip. If we had not been tired from a 12 hour day on the road we would have refused to stay. This is definitely not the experience we have had with Hampton Inn in the past.

Not up to Hilton standards. Sheets are too small for the bed and keep coming off. The bathroom door has a section cut out of it so it will close because the vanity is too wide for the room. The legs on the bathroom vanity do not touch the floor for some reason. The toilet is very short and small. These are things you don’t expect to see in a room costing $140 per night 😡
