Staff not very friendly. Room dirty and smelly. Heater put off awful smell. Won’t be back!

Wonderful stay great staff and reasonable prices

We enjoyed the hotel for the most part. The staff was friendly but could have been more helpful. When we missed the breakfast cutoff time, we asked for a recommendation for a diner that might serve breakfast. The individual seemed shocked by our question and said: “Breakfast after 11 am? That’s gonna be tough.” She didn’t try to look anything up or offer any suggestions until I asked again. She then said: “Waffle House but that’s across town and far.” I said I’d just ask AI. She said “Good idea.” AI listed 4 options in close proximity within seconds. I really wanted a personal recommendation but she didn’t seem interested in helping or even asking anyone else. We were also surprised that there was no room refresh service for a three-night stay. We asked a housekeeper and we were told we weren’t on her list but she would add us and freshen our room. But she wouldn’t change the sheets. Again, for this level of hotel and the price we paid, that’s a poor value proposition. We didn’t find the hotel design and atmosphere nice but the level of service didn’t match.
